This section provides descriptions of terms used in this guide.
- Address Information: section on the Order Details screen that displays the address entered on the New Order Flood Determination screen and the Matched Address
- Administrator: A person appointed to handle user management responsibilities such as new user set ups, user deactivations, password resets, and more.
- All FEMA: specific option that allows users to select all FEMA orders for download.
- All Notice: specific option that allows users to select all Notice orders for download.
- Attachment Information: section that allows users to view, download, or delete an attached document.
- Basic Flood Determination: a one-time official declaration printed on the FEMA Standard Hazard Determination form. Wolters Kluwer Financial Services identifies the flood zone, community number, map and panel number, community participation information, insurance availability, map date, and entry date.
- Certificate Info: this section displays the Certification Number and email link to the Mapping Department.
- Cert. No (Certificate Number): an order's unique identifier.
- Comments: field that can be used for additional information such as a subdivision name. Information entered in this field will print on the completed flood determination.
- Commercial Flood Determination: a life of loan determination for a commerical property; this includes the community name and number, panel-suffix, map date for the Flood Insurance Rate Maps, and community participation status.
- Dispute: option where the user can file a formal objection to the flood determination.
- Downgrade: option on the Order Details screen that allows users to downgrade a Life of Loan order to a Basic order.
- Dwelling Type: dropdown on the Order screen that provides a list of buildings/house types.
- Email Certification To: email address that will receive a copy of the FEMA Form and Notice Letter.
- Entered Address: address information enterered by the user
- FEMA: Federal Emergency Management Agency
- FEMA Form: users can select this option within Order Details to access a specific order's FEMA Form.
- Flood Determination: determines the flood risk status for a specific address
- Flood Information: section within Order Details that displays the zone, community, map number, NFIP Program Status, Determination Status, Census, Community Number, Effective, County, Determination Date.
- From Order Date: the beginning order date in an order search.
- From Map Date: the beginning date of a Life of Loan update date.
- Lender: the institution or individual loaning money to the borrower.
- Lender Contact: the Lender information that prints to the FEMA form.
- Lender Identifier: a specific lender's unique ID.
- Life of Loan Determination: a Basic Flood Determination plus tracking for the entire term of the loan. If any changes occur, the user is notified.
- Loan Number: a specific loan's unique identification number.
- Loan Status: displays a specific loan's status as either canceled or paid off.
- Matched Address: displays the street address related to a geographic location as recognized and coded by the U.S. Census.
- Manual Determination: process to create a determination when an auto-determination cannot be made on an order.
- Name: for ordering purposes, this is the Borrower Name.
- Order: a flood determination; the Order tab allows users to create a new flood determination order.
- Order Details: information pertaining to a submitted or selected order.
- Order Information: section within Order Details that displays an order's Loan Number, Tax Map Number, Name, Ordered By, Loan Status, Product Type, Dwelling Type, and Order Date.
- Order Maintenance tab: section that allows users to recall previously entered flood orders.
- Processor: name of the primary contact
- Product Type: dropdown on the Order screen that displays the available items based on an organization's contract.
- Recertification: an action that generates a new flood determination and certificate.
- Request for Information (RFI): standard business process in order to collect written information on a non-completed order.
- Reporting: tab within the application that allows user to view flood zone determination activity, LOL flood determinations, and summary activity.
- Rush: places a rush on the order; rush orders are typically processed within three hours.
- Save FEMA: option allows users to save the FEMA form for an individual order as a .ZIP file.
- Save Notice: option allows users to save the notice letter for an individual order as a .ZIP file.
- Tax Map Number: parcel identifier of the property.
- Through Order Date: the end order date for an order search.
- Through Map Date: the end order date for an order search.
- Transfer: option that allows users to transfer a loan to a different order level, user, or lender
- Upgrade: option that allows users to upgrade a Basic order to a Life of Loan order
- User: someone who can access the application.
- View History: section that displays all of the actions performed to a particular order.
